The couse is delivered through a mixture of online notes, video, interactive tests and tutorial assignments.

Student Membership
By signing up for the course, you will become a Student Member of the Institute of Professional Investigators.

Tutor
At the beginning of the course you will be assigned a tutor who will guide you through the four part learning experience.

In addition to this, you will also have access to other tutors who each have their own area of expertise.

Library
There is also an online library that provides an additional resource to fully explore the work of the professional investigator.

The tutor assignments fall at the end of each part. Your tutor must be satisfied that you have understood that part of the course before allowing you access to the following part.

CERTIFICATE

On completion of the course students will be given an opportunity to sit an examination. The examination fee is £120.00 plus vat. Those who pass the examination will be awarded the IPI Foundation Certificate.

Successful students will also be able to apply for membership of the Institute at Affiliate level, subject to approval by the IPI Board, without having to pay the joining fee of  £58.75 inclusive of VAT
