The IPI deliver the Award in Covert Surveillance (Basic) level 4. The awarding body is 'Skills for Justice' (SFJ). The IPI deliver high quality formal Surveillance training with IPI Members who are fully accredited Assessors.
This course is an intensive course that exceeds the requirements of the RQF level 4 qualification and is designed to meet the needs of any student wishing to immediately commence work as a trained surveillance operative. Students must be physically fit and have a reasonable level of competence in basic IT skills and the use of modern communications methods.
This course will involve 17 hours of pre – course online training lessons, 19 modules of surveillance theory input and extensive practical exercises conducted over 5 long training days at an IPI training centre. After successful completion of the course students will be provided with ongoing support via from IPI mentors. In addition to this, successful students will also be eligible to apply for IPI full membership with many additional benefits.
Note : If English is not your first language you need to provide a certificate of IELTS or an equivalent standard certificate in order to be registered to attend the course.
You can apply online and pay through the PAYPAL system for the Award in Covert Surveillance (basic) level 4. You do not need to open up an account with PAYPAL.
When sign up online your account will be created but will not be activated until your payment and account has been processed and approved by the IPI. Please note that this is done during office hours in the UK.
Note: Learners will be required to complete 17 hours pre course online video lessons, a 5 day practical course and submit a workbook on completion of the practical course. Ongoing guidance and support will be provided by the Trainer/Assessors.
Please note that as part of our commitment to all veterans who qualify for ELCAS funding there is a significantly discounted cost for the Level 4 Award in Covert Surveillance Operations (Basic) of £1,300 with the student contribution totalling only £260.
