David Palmer is a Companion of the Institute and a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives.

He is the author of "Tracing: An Investigator's Guide to Finding Wanted and Missing Persons", and The Institute of Professional Investigators' "Manual for Professional Investigators"

He was until recently  a serving police investigator, engaged in fraud investigations in a provincial force. He has 26 years experience in the investigation and security fields.

Specialisation: Criminal Justice

Stephen Smith is a Member of the Institute. He was a serving police officer engaged in all aspects of investigations. He retired as Head of Criminal Justice in the City of London Police.
